As part of The Phoenician’s landmark, multi-million dollar renovation—the largest property reinvestment since the iconic resort opened in 1988—came an all-new destination spa like nothing else in the region. Commit was approached to develop and execute The Phoenician Spa’s new brand identity with a focus on creating an experience that would garner the spa a Forbes Five-Star Award.
Commit developed a new brand identity for The Phoenician Spa beginning with in-depth research that led to innovative design work, content creation, photography and a comprehensive marketing launch strategy. We then designed an overall spa experience focused on guiding individuals through an artistic journey for body, mind and spirit. Every step of the guest experience was thoughtfully curated to provide a sense of nurturing transformation at every touchpoint – from the time they booked a massage online to the moment they checked out at the front desk, and every step along the way.
The result was a bold, cohesive brand infrastructure and social media framework that helped the new spa achieve $1 million in revenue the second month after opening. In addition, The Phoenician Spa achieved the coveted Forbes Five Star status within two years, which it has since maintained. As importantly, The Phoenician Spa is leading Marriott® globally in spa revenue.
