At the end of 2017, Hickman’s Family Farms was looking for a marketing partner to evolve and position their brand effectively to its customers as it continued to grow. In response to the company’s prioritized initiatives, Commit Agency provided research in the form of a quantitative AAU (Awareness, Attitudes, Usage) study to aid in informing a complete rebrand. The result was an updated look, brand story and marketing direction for Hickman’s. The first initiative after the new brand definition was complete was to design a contemporary website that reflected the brand, as well as how modern users navigate the site. By prioritizing both on- and off-page best practices, Commit Agency drastically improved Hickman’s Family Farms’ search results and reach. Site performance was also improved by validating site uptime, auditing for technical site issues, updating page titles and meta descriptions to improve CTR and adding internal links to improve bounce rates. Our creative team then went to work designing assets for the brand rollout, including truck wraps, social media posts and in-store POP signage. The result was one of our most rebellious headlines to date: To get eggs any fresher, we’d have to give you the bird.
