Dissatisfied with a previous branding outcome, Arizona-based eegee’s partnered with Commit Agency to completely revamp the existing brand look, feel and voice across multiple platforms as they expanded from a cult favorite, Tucson-only establishment into the crowded Phoenix market.
After identifying an updated target audience, we turned vision into reality. This included a new website with loyalty-focused online ordering, refreshed emails and consumer communications, updated in-store print collateral and wrapping a cool Vannette food truck that delivers deliciousness across the Valley and Tucson.
Already owning an active, creative and (perfectly) mischievous social presence, we enhanced and broadened the brand’s digital personality while retaining its die-hard audience and enhancing the brand’s trademark humor and edge. From in-depth industry research, ongoing original content capture and increased graphic design and video content, the result was a bold and cohesive presence that was leading-edge visually and strategically.
As the new, vibrant brand came to life, we also embarked on an ambitious growth plan to introduce eegee’s to the Phoenix market via an aggressive (and super fun) social media strategy. We launched a monthly social-only drip campaign that teased followers with hints and details about the Phoenix launch. Then we leaned into their audience’s well of cult love with an April Fool’s product launch post that not only received a mind-bending organic engagement rate of 25 percent but also generated primetime earned media that landed eegee’s in the opening block of major local newscasts.
Commit Agency’s strategy helped eegee’s achieve a 200 percent increase in web sessions, an 84 percent jump in social media impressions, a 38 percent lift in social media engagement and a 115 percent spike in video views.
