Hospitality Veteran Greg Starmack Joins Commit Agency

As Commit Agency continues to grow its dynamic roster of hospitality clients nationwide, we are excited to announce that hospitality marketing veteran Greg Starmack will join our team as Vice President of Hospitality.

With more than 30 years of brand marketing experience, Starmack previously founded and led The Starmack Group—a full-service brand marketing agency in San Diego specializing in hospitality. Greg has led brand marketing efforts for international hotel and resort management firms as well as individual boutique properties including Benchmark Resorts & Hotels, Destination Hotels (now Destination by Hyatt), Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Salamander Hotels & Resorts, Enchantment Resort, Fairmont Kea Lani Maui and more.

“I have known David for years—both as a competitor and, more importantly, a respected hospitality marketing leader,” Starmack said. “When I was thinking about my next chapter earlier this year, I immediately thought of David and Commit Agency. I had long admired what he and his agency had accomplished over the years with well-known hospitality brands—many of which I had also worked with over the past 30 years. When the opportunity to join forces arose, it was a no-brainer.”

Commit Agency has worked with dozens of hospitality brands over the past 25 years and currently manages advertising efforts for The Phoenician Resort, The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician, JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa, Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino, Skytop Lodge, The Scottsdale Plaza Resort, Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center and Aramark. Over the years, Commit Agency has also worked with Benchmark Resorts & Hotels, Destination Hotels, Marriott, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, Magnolia Hotels and many more.

In August, Commit Agency celebrated its 25th anniversary—a milestone Greg celebrated in a LinkedIn message to Commit Agency president David Ralls, which led to subsequent conversations about Starmack’s plans for the future.
