Commit Agency | Holidays in Downtown Chandler

December 14, 2015

For us at Commit Agency, the decision to relocate to downtown Chandler was heavily influenced by our desire to be a part of a vibrant, close-knit community. In addition to cool new restaurants and bars opening just steps from our front door (have you checked out The Ostrich yet?), the holiday season brings a whole other level of excitement to the area. Here are some of our team’s favorites:

Tumbleweed Tree

Chandler’s famous tumbleweed Christmas tree is 35 feet tall and made of more than 1,500 tumbleweeds collected from all over the Valley. City employees worked tirelessly to build, spray paint, and decorate the tree in time for the annual lighting ceremony earlier this month, and it will be on display throughout the holiday season.

Spirit of Christmas Variety Show: December 12 – 20, various times

Held at the Chandler Center for the Performing Arts, this festive variety show will get you into the spirit of the season with holiday-themed dances, songs and more.  This is a great event for the whole family, so buy your tickets now. Proceeds go to benefit the Paz de Christo Child Crisis Center.

Chandler Farmer’s Market: Thursdays from 3 to 7 pm

If you prefer your produce to be of the organic variety, be sure to stop by the weekly Chandler Farmer’s Market. Pick up fresh vegetables, unique baked goods and more, all while supporting local businesses.

Downtown Chandler Art Walk: Friday, December 18 from 6 to 10 p.m.

A great place to find unique gifts for your family and friends, the Chandler Art Walk features an incredible variety of art, ranging from painting and pottery to mixed media and woodworking. Browse the stalls and get to know downtown Chandler artists and local businesses.
