One of our favorite things to do during the wintertime in downtown Chandler is to visit the Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings. With multiple local vendors offering goods, beverages, fresh produce, and yummy food, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to eat and get a head start on your holiday shopping.

Tumbleweed Tree Lighting Ceremony
If you’ve ever been to Downtown Chandler during the holidays, you have probably seen the iconic tumbleweed Christmas tree. Each year, city workers collect up to a thousand tumbleweeds to use in the construction of this giant Christmas-tree-shaped mound. After shaping, painting, and even adding loads of glitter, the tree is wound up with lights and ready to be lit each year in front of hundreds of onlookers.
