Art Director / Senior Art Director

Overview:

Commit Agency is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced cross-media art director/designer to support our award-winning creative team on a full-time basis. As our new Senior Art Director, you will work under the direction of our Creative Director and in close collaboration with other key team members to produce conceptual design work that is creative, compelling and on-brand for our diverse list of clients.

The right candidate must possess a passion, natural ability and sharp eye for all things design and have relevant agency and/or corporate in-house experience in art direction and digital graphic design. This person should also be able to manage multiple projects of varying complexities with multiple deadlines, have a strong attention to detail, work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and have expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically XD, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Additional experience in Adobe Premiere, After Effects video editing and production platforms is a major bonus.


Responsibilities & Details:

  • Must live locally in the Phoenix metro area
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in an advertising agency, graphic design studio or corporate in-house marketing environment
  • Have an established portfolio of relevant design work
  • Create design for both traditional and digital experiences, including but not limited to, brochures, web design, landing pages, emails, digital display ads, social media ads, and more, from conception to completion
  • Take direction from the Creative Director and other key team members
  • Work closely with the creative department, including other designers and copywriters, to develop compelling, creative, high-quality design work that aligns with clients’ brand image, voice and strategy
  • Work and collaborate with other internal agency departments to ensure creative, effective and timely project outcomes
  • Showcase exceptional visualization and art and design skills, particularly in regard to creating work with a comprehensive, consistent and imaginative look and feel
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • An understanding of UI/UX design
  • Experience in concerting and producing broadcast assets like video, television and radio
  • Expert working ability with macOS
  • Experience with Google Drive (Gmail, Google Docs, file organization, etc.)
  • Strong organizational abilities and a sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet key deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Become an expert in, and an advocate for, clients’ industries and their products
  • Possess a team player attitude, who likes to have fun and win
  • Must be proactive and self-motivated, capable of achieving client and agency goals both independently and in close collaboration
  • Understand integrated marketing agency principles and practices
  • Adhere to internal agency workflow procedures, policies and protocols
  • Maintain and support a positive, creative and collaborative work environment by behaving and communicating in a professional and respectful manner
  • Be able to work remotely from home for varying periods of time with a dedicated home workspace where you can remain focused and productive without distraction
  • Ability to edit and produce video assets a major plus
