Director of Digital Strategy

Overview:

Commit Agency is looking for a Director of Digital Strategy to lead our award-winning digital department on a full-time basis. This candidate will be a member of our leadership team and will lead and manage our digital team members to create best-in-class digital strategies that achieve or exceed our clients’ goals and objectives.

The right candidate for this position will have at least 10 years of agency or corporate in-house digital marketing strategy and execution experience with a core strength in proactively identifying problems and developing successful solutions. This candidate should have experience managing a team of digital specialists with a strong ability to develop individuals to be their best through mentoring, training and management. Managing multiple projects of varying complexities, across multiple clients and an ability to work well under pressure are a must. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of effective public speaking as well as published articles demonstrating thought leadership.

To produce, maintain and optimize high converting digital campaigns and websites that deliver on our clients’ brand promise in creative, meaningful and measurable ways.

  • Commit Agency growing its position as a digital marketing thought leader
  • Improved website traffic and conversions
  • Websites produced and delivered on time, on budget and accurately
  • Campaign optimization and performance meeting or exceeding client goals
  • Client revenue goals being met or exceeded

  • Training and education of internal team members and clients on continually evolving digital best practices
  • Ability to quickly develop a working understanding of a client’s business, the challenges they face and be able to develop an integrated digital strategy that meets or exceeds client business goals
  • Demonstrable ability to successfully resolve situations that are broadly defined, complex, diverse and occasionally unprecedented

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and be accountable for the digital team including eight members with three direct reports: Digital Marketing Manager, Digital Project Manager and Email Manager

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, Ecommerce, or related field
  • 10+ years experience in digital marketing strategy and execution
  • Google certifications in Advanced Analytics, Adwords and Tag Manager
