Account Manager

Overview:

Commit Agency is looking for an experienced, strategic and highly detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate is someone who has agency experience, understands how to mulit-task and can truly own the business. The ideal Account Manager can think critically and drive next steps; takes detailed notes during meetings; can write and communicate effectively; and can meet deadlines and meet budgets like it’s nobody’s business. We work hard, but we have a lot of fun doing what we do.

Responsibilities & Details:

  • Driving project deliverables forward (while staying on task and on budget)
  • Cultivating client relationships
  • Collaborating with teammates to find the best possible outcomes for our clients
  • Holding status calls and confidently presenting to clients (in person or virtually)
  • Building internal camaraderie and keeping the teams informed about your clients
  • Reviewing and verifying all client work represents the brand and aligns with the strategy
  • Writing client creative briefs, proposals and SOWs
  • Managing your client monthly billings and preparing documents for invoicing
  • Maintaining and growing your passion for marketing

In addition to the above, you will also be expected to complete administrative account and project management functions to keep client efforts on track and moving, including (but not limited to):

  • Creating and trafficking work orders
  • Taking detailed notes in meetings (internal and with clients)
  • Scoping and estimating projects with the team
  • Building project timelines with the teams involved
  • Scheduling internal and client meetings
  • Maintaining monthly budget forecasting documentation
  • Preparing materials and Google Slide presentations for client projects

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum three (3) years of advertising agency experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or a related field
  • Google Analytics certification a plus
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with both Microsoft Office and Google Drive (especially Excel and Google Sheets)
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Remain upbeat, optimistic and solution-oriented when dealing with challenging situations
  • Experience using Workamajig and Basecamp is a plus
  • Ability to work remotely if necessary, with a dedicated workspace where you can remain focused and productive without distraction
