Production Designer


Commit Agency is looking for a creative, enthusiastic and experienced cross-media production artist/graphic designer to support our award-winning Creative and Social Media departments on a full-time basis. As our new production designer, you will work under the direction of our Creative Director and in close collaboration with other key team members, including the Director of Social Media and Content Strategy, to produce work that is on-brand for our diverse list of clients. This role includes a strong focus on social media design, producing engaging and on-brand photo, graphic and video content for client social media channels.

The right candidate must possess a keen eye for visual composition and basic design, have a strong awareness for designing specifically for social media and have relevant agency and/or corporate in-house experience in production and digital graphic design. This person should also be able to manage multiple projects of varying complexities with multiple deadlines, have a strong attention to detail, work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and have a good grasp of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically XD, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Additional experience in Adobe Premiere, After Effects video editing and production platforms a major bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities & Details:

  • 3+ years experience in an advertising agency, graphic design studio or corporate in-house marketing environment
  • Have an established portfolio of relevant design and production work
  • Create work for both traditional and digital experiences, including but not limited to, brochures, web design, landing pages, emails, digital display ads, social media ads, and more
  • Develop original design assets like graphics, GIFs and short-form videos for use on social media
  • Take direction from the Creative Director and other key team members
  • Collaborate well with the creative/account/social teams to develop high-quality production and design work that aligns with our clients’ brand image, voice and strategy
  • Work and collaborate with the traffic manager to ensure effective and timely project outcomes
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • An understanding of UI/UX design
  • A good understanding of macOS
  • Be social media savvy and have an understanding of the primary platforms from a content design perspective
  • Experience with Google Drive (Gmail, Google Docs, file organization, etc.) a plus
  • Strong organizational abilities and a sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet key deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Possess a team player attitude, who likes to have fun and win
  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently as well as in close collaboration
  • Adhere to internal agency workflow procedures, policies and protocols
