Commit Agency is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Production Designer to support our Creative team with a strong focus on social-first design. This mid-level role is ideal for a designer who thrives on execution, enjoys collaborating across teams, and is excited to bring brands to life through compelling visual content.

As a Production Designer, you’ll work closely with our Creative Director, Director of Social Media & Content Strategy, and cross-functional teams to produce on-brand design assets across digital and traditional channels. You’ll play a critical role in supporting ongoing client work by delivering high-quality graphics, short-form video, and basic animated content that performs across social platforms.

Responsibilities & Details:

  • Design and produce assets across digital and traditional platforms, including:
  • Organic and paid social media content
  • Digital display ads and paid social creative
  • Emails, landing pages, and web design support
  • Brochures and other brand collateral
  • Develop original social-first creative including static graphics, GIFs, short-form videos, and basic animated assets
  • Create simple animations using After Effects and/or Photoshop, such as text animation, motion overlays, looping social content, and animated graphics
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Director of Social Media & Content Strategy to execute creative that aligns with client brand standards and strategy
  • Partner with Account, Social, and Creative teams to ensure assets are delivered accurately, on time, and within scope
  • Work closely with the Traffic Manager to manage deadlines and prioritize workload across multiple projects
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain working files according to internal workflows and naming conventions
  • Stay current on creative, design, branding, and social media trends, and proactively share ideas to elevate client work
  • Maintain a positive, creative, and collaborative work environment through professional communication and teamwork

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of design experience, preferably in an agency or fast-paced creative environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including:
    • Photoshop
    • Illustrator
    • InDesign
    • Lightroom
  • Ability to create basic animations in After Effects and/or Photoshop is required
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms from a content and design perspective
  • Solid foundation in layout, typography, color, and composition
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles
  • Comfortable working in macOS environments
  • Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, file organization) a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Receptive to feedback and able to apply it quickly and thoughtfully
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Experience creating short-form video for social platforms
  • Familiarity with social publishing or creative production tools
  • Prior agency experience
