This mid-level, individual contributor role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution — with a primary focus on paid and boosted social media alongside full-channel digital campaign ownership across search, programmatic, and emerging platforms.
The Digital Marketing Manager brings deep expertise in paid social, a strong command of digital media broadly, and a genuine passion for what’s next. Responsibilities & Details:

Paid & Boosted Social Media

  • Collaborate on paid and boosted social strategy, execution, and optimization across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat, and X (Twitter) for a portfolio of client accounts
  • Build and manage social ad campaigns including audience targeting, creative trafficking, bid strategy, and budget pacing to deliver against client KPIs
  • Develop and execute boosted post strategies that maximize organic content performance through strategic amplification
  • Collaborate on managing Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and X Ads platform accounts with proficiency
  • Partner with Creative teams to brief, traffic, and QA social ad assets; provide platform-specific creative guidance and performance-informed feedback • Conduct ongoing audience research, segmentation, and testing to refine targeting strategies across platforms
  • Execute structured A/B tests on creative, copy, audiences, and placements; analyze results and apply learnings to continuously improve performance
  • Monitor platform-specific trends, algorithm updates, and emerging ad formats — and proactively bring recommendations to clients and the internal team

Paid Search & Programmatic

  • Plan, build, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Bing/Microsoft Ads, including keyword research, match type strategy, campaign architecture, ad group structure, and negative keyword management
  • Upload and test ad copy; manage ad extensions (sitelinks, callouts, structured snippets, call extensions) to maximize search real estate and CTR
  • Develop and manage smart bidding strategies — including Target CPA, Target ROAS, and Enhanced CPC — aligned to client goals and funnel stage
  • Set up and maintain call tracking, conversion tracking, and Google Tag Manager configurations to ensure accurate attribution and reporting
  • Plan and execute Google Shopping and Performance Max campaigns for e-commerce clients, including product feed management and audience signal development • Manage programmatic display, video, and native campaigns via StackAdapt, DV360, or similar DSPs — including audience targeting, deal IDs, contextual placements, and frequency management
  • Develop retargeting and prospecting audience strategies across search and programmatic channels, leveraging first-party data, lookalike modeling, and in-market segments
  • Monitor delivery, pacing, and budget allocation across all paid search and programmatic campaigns; flag and resolve underdelivery or overspend proactively
  • Stay current on Google Ads product updates, beta opportunities, and programmatic innovations; bring actionable recommendations to the team

Strategy & Media Planning

  • Contribute to integrated digital media plans across paid social, search, programmatic, and emerging channels
  • Develop channel strategies grounded in client business objectives, consumer insights, and competitive landscape analysis
  • Proactively identify and recommend new channels, beta opportunities, and incremental budget investments to support account growth
  • Partner with the Digital Director on high-level strategy recommendations and client-facing media presentations

Reporting & Analytics

  • Pull, organize, and analyze campaign performance data across all platforms; maintain and update reporting spreadsheets and Looker Studio dashboards
  • Provide written performance insights for monthly and quarterly client reports; occasionally present data and key findings directly to clients
  • Track paid social metrics including ROAS, CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL, and conversion rates; connect performance data to client business outcomes
  • Monitor KPIs across all channels and surface optimization opportunities proactively SEO & Digital Presence
  • Support search engine optimization efforts including on-page recommendations and tools-based performance analysis
  • Manage and update local SEO profiles across Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, and Bing Places
  • Research & Innovation
  • Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analyses to surface growth and optimization opportunities for client campaigns
  • Stay current on paid social platform updates, emerging formats, and digital trends — and actively share findings with the team
  • Bring a progressive, curious mindset: refuse to rinse and repeat; always be looking for the smarter approach

Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate across agency departments — accounts, media, PR, creative, dev, and social — to develop cohesive digital strategies
  • Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders, vendor partners, and clients in a professional, solutions-oriented manner
  • Contribute to a positive, creative, and collaborative team culture

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of digital marketing experience, with demonstrated depth in paid social media; agency experience strongly preferred
  • Expert-level proficiency in Meta Business Manager (Facebook/Instagram Ads) required; hands-on experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and X Ads a strong plus
  • Solid working knowledge of Google Ads and Bing Ads; programmatic experience (StackAdapt, DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar) a plus
  • Strong understanding of paid social metrics, attribution models, pixel/tag implementation, and conversion tracking
  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, and Google Workspace • Familiarity with Workamajig or similar agency project management tools a plus • Strong analytical mindset with a track record of using data to drive performance decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present insights clearly to clients
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
