Paid Social Media Specialist (Part-Time)


Commit Agency is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Paid Social Media Specialist to join our award-winning digital department on a part-time basis (20 hours/week).

The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter who can manage multiple accounts of varying complexities across multiple clients and possesses the ability to work proactively and efficiently under pressure. You will manage paid social campaigns that achieve or exceed our clients’ goals and objectives. Candidates should have a strong understanding of social ads, digital marketing strategy, industry trends, and the ability to implement changes to improve client KPI’s.

Responsibilities & Details:


  • Manage paid social initiatives across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Plan, execute and optimize social ad campaigns including but not limited to ad copy/format testing, bidding strategies, audience segmentation, conversion tracking, and budget management
  • Implement tracking for various platforms within Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Analyze campaign data and optimize accordingly utilizing conversion tracking to deliver maximum return for clients. Provide written insights to the Digital Director to be used in monthly or quarterly client reports
  • Manage budget and pacing across campaigns to ensure business objectives are met and ads deliver consistent returns for clients
  • Lead account growth initiatives by proactively recommending new channels, testing betas, and developing incremental budget recommendations
  • Brainstorm and execute A/B tests regularly. Analyze the results and identify trends/insights to share with the digital team that inform the next test
  • Collaborate with the digital team on integrated media plans and present the paid social recommendations to the internal team and occasional client calls
  • Collaborate closely with the organic social media and content team to ensure strategy, quality, consistency, and best practices are maintained for all campaigns
  • Perform market research and competitive analyses, as well as provide views on emerging technologies and social/digital marketing opportunities. Keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and opportunities in order to inform agency direction and decision making
  • Maintain and support a positive, creative and collaborative work environment by communicating in a professional and respectful manner across internal, vendor-related, and client-facing relationships

Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience managing results-driven paid social media campaigns in an agency environment
  • High proficiency in Facebook Ads Manager
  • Experience managing (or familiarity with) Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and TikTok ads
  • Google Analytics experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field is a plus
  • Experience using Google Drive, Data Studio and/or Workamajig is a plus
  • Quick and analytical strategic thinking skills, as well as a natural ability to derive meaningful insights from campaign data
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet key deadlines and manage multiple accounts/campaigns simultaneously

This position can be in-office*, remote (in the United States), or a hybrid of the two.
