Providing an oasis for families and couples to reconnect within nature, Skytop Lodge is located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains on 5,500 acres and is the region’s premier family resort and conference center. Following a multi-million dollar renovation, Skytop Lodge sought Commit Agency’s expertise to reposition the property to reflect the new aesthetic, as well as promote the unmatched offerings this jewel of a destination provides.
Commit Agency engaged Skytop’s leadership team in a brand session to define their brand lovers, unique points of difference and guest benefits. By repositioning Skytop Lodge to highlight its most important competitive advantages, while respecting the history and 90+ year legacy of the property, “It’s in our nature” was born, becoming the catalyst to drive exceptional service and experiences that can only be found at Skytop. Brand pillars were defined that inspired a new emotional story of the property, along with a positioning statement that has been used to guide all visual and verbal representations of the brand presented across every customer touchpoint, including the website, arrival materials, signage/wayfinding, in-room amenities, collateral and all marketing communications. Most importantly, meaningful guest experiences were developed so that resort staff could deliver on the brand promise consistently throughout the guest’s stay.
Commit developed a fully integrated campaign including brand strategy, creative, SEO, blog content, paid search, public relations, organic and paid social media, website development and email marketing.
Over the years, Commit Agency has also rebranded the property’s restaurants to include logo development, menu design and more. In 2023, Commit Agency developed a new website for Skytop Lodge that included an interactive map and other dynamic, best-in-class elements to improve the user experience.
In the past two years, Commit Agency’s marketing efforts have contributed to a significant increase in revenue for Skytop Lodge. Additionally, as a result of the launch of the new website in 2023, website sessions and website revenue grew by double digits.
